Thor the Mighty Avenger (Volume 1 )

Thor the Mighty Avenger (Volume 1 ) - Roger Langridge, Chris Samnee, Matthew Wilson Not bad. Samnee is always great. Worth the 1.99 I paid digitally for sure haha.

Wonder Woman, Vol. 4: War

Wonder Woman, Vol. 4: War - Brian Azzarello, Cliff Chiang, Tony Akins, Goran Sudžuka, Dan Green Just amazing. Who ever follows up this run is being set up to fail. I don't know if it's even possible to match this quality, let alone top it.

Batman, Vol. 3: Death of the Family

Batman, Vol. 3: Death of the Family - Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion Revised to 4 stars. It reads much better in trade and after listening to the Capullo/Snyder appearance on Fatman on Batman.

Preacher, Book Three

Preacher, Book 3 - Garth Ennis, Steve Dillon This series is something else man...

Moon Knight By Brian Michael Bendis & Alex Maleev - Volume 1

Moon Knight By Brian Michael Bendis & Alex Maleev - Volume 1 - Brian Michael Bendis, Alex Maleev Really enjoyed this. I can already tell the 12 issues (two trades) are not going to be enough.

Ion, Vol. 2: The Dying Flame

Ion, Vol. 2: The Dying Flame - Ron Marz, Greg Tocchini, Fernando Pasarín Interesting enough, but it doesn't appear there ever was a follow up to this? What happened after? No volume 3 that I can find. Odd...

Green Lantern/Green Arrow: Emerald Allies

Green Lantern/Green Arrow: Emerald Allies - Chuck Dixon, Ron Marz, Rodolfo Damaggio, Doug Braithwaite, Darryl Banks, Will Rosado Enjoyed it. Bought it for the Rayner issues mostly. Not a huge fan of Ollie's kid, but be was alright. Gotta read the original GL/GA stuff now...

Green Lantern: Wrath of the First Lantern, Vol. 1

Green Lantern: Wrath of the First Lantern, Vol. 1 - Geoff Johns, Various Only 3, maybe 3.5, because there was some odd story points. Stuff seemed rushed at the end, the Red Lantern stuff brought the quality down and even GLC was not great. Still, more than worth reading Geoff Johns' swan song.

The Green Lantern Chronicles, Vol. 1

The Green Lantern Chronicles, Vol. 1 - John Broome, Gil Kane, Joe Giella, Murphy Anderson Well it's the beginning of Green Lantern as we know it. It's actually really enjoyable, if you let the writing just kind of slide. It was the 60s after all. If you like ol' GL I say give this a look.

Half Past Danger

Half Past Danger - Stephen Mooney For a first creator owned series, Mooney knocked it out of the park. These are characters with longevity and hopefully we get a lot more HPD. Plus, this HC collection from IDW is just absolutely gorgeous. Stellar inside and out.

Prophet Volume 3: Empire TP

Prophet Volume 3: Empire TP - Brandon S. Graham, Andrew Monson, Simon Roy, Various Just... Whoa.

Adventure Time Vol. 3 Mathematical Edition

Adventure Time Vol. 3 Mathematical Edition - Ryan North, Braden Lamb, Shelli Paroline Fun, awesome, and totally Math. Seriously when you're in need of some. Adventure Time these comics are more than up to the task.

Batman: Year 100

Batman: Year 100 - Paul Pope Simply amazing. Make sure you read Pope's comments in the back. He gave this a ton of thought.

Ion, Vol. 1: The Torchbearer

Ion, Vol. 1: The Torchbearer - Ron Marz, Greg Tocchini, Jay Leisten, Tom Grindberg The art was really superb here and that's definitely a huge plus. While I might be reading bits and pieces of Rayner's history because a lot is out of print, this was still interesting and I'll be tracking down Vol. 2 for sure.

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life - Bryan Lee O'Malley Great color update. First time reading it and man they nailed the movie. Will have to continue.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Third Army

Green Lantern: Rise of the Third Army - Geoff Johns, Peter J. Tomasi, Various Good build up to Wrath of the first Lantern but still a good self contained story. Great seeing Kyle master the spectrum and Baz is a great new character. All around, goodnworld changing Lantern stuff.
