Deadman Wonderland, Vol. 1

Deadman Wonderland, Vol. 1 - Jinsei Kataoka, Kazuma Kondou Interesting. It MIGHT be more of a 3.5,im not sure. Some of the earlier narrative stuff lost me on who was speaking. It's an interesting idea though and I'll follow up with the second volume.

Pluto: Urasawa X Tezuka volume 1

Pluto: Urasawa X Tezuka volume 1 - Naoki Urasawa In a couple of hours, I'd burned through this volume; it'd that good. The art, the story--it's just... Fantastic. Undoubtedly getting the follow up volumes and of course going to be looking up MONSTER when the new printing comes out.

Cyberforce: Rebirth, Volume One

Cyberforce: Rebirth, Volume One - Matt Hawkins Really enjoyed this. Definitely recommend people checking this out.

The Darkness Origins Volume 1 (Darkness (Top Cow))

The Darkness Origins Volume 1 (Darkness (Top Cow)) - Garth Ennis;Marc Silvestri Actually pretty goods didn't really it was all connected to WITCHBLADE either. Will definitely read more.

Thor: Season One

Thor: Season One - Matthew Sturges Really enjoyed this actually. Art was great and it was a great modern re-telling of the beginnings of Thor. If you're not sure who Thor started out as, check this out. Add of course read the original stuff too. Just to compare.

Hellboy: The Dragon Pool

Hellboy: The Dragon Pool - Christopher Golden, Mike Mignola Review to come...

Elephantmen, Volume 1: Wounded Animals

Elephantmen, Volume 1: Wounded Animals - Various Artists, Joe Kelly, Richard Starkings Finally got to read this and, admittedly, I'm intrigued. The art was hit or miss, but progressively got better and the writing was interesting. Will definitely have to follow up eventually.

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth - The Pickens County Horror and Others

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth - The Pickens County Horror and Others - Mike Mignola, Scott Allie Fiumara and Harren steal the show, hands down. Great art, and the stories were cool. Especially Abyss of Time.

B.P.R.D.: 1948

B.P.R.D.: 1948 - Max Fiumara, Mike Mignola, John Arcudi, Scott Allie More fantastic work from the 1940s Era of BPRD series. People complaining it's thrown together or characters aren't developed must have been watching TV and trying to read this at the same time. There's something in the works here. More Anders, more about these monster's origins and the Prof, but it'll come in the next volume. Mignola never disappoints.

FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics Vol. 1: The Paradigm Shift

FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics Vol. 1: The Paradigm Shift - Simon Oliver, Robbi Rodriguez Reads even better in trade. The art is great, the story is unique and original and man that cover just jumps at you and screams "pick me up!". Definitely recommend this.

Hellboy, Volume 1: Seed of Destruction and Wake the Devil

Hellboy, Volume 1: Seed of Destruction and Wake the Devil - Mike Mignola, John Byrne Just an absolute master piece. Undoubtedly will read again and again for years to come.

Hellboy: The Bones of Giants

Hellboy: The Bones of Giants - Christopher Golden, Mike Mignola One of the best Hellboy stories of all time. More on my review here: http://mignolaverse.co/post/82260550123/review-the-bones-of-giants

Swords of Good Men

Swords of Good Men - Snorri Kristjansson Well that took a surprising turn towards the end. Didn't except a lot of the deaths, actually. Count me in for the second book.

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, Vol. 4: The Devil's Engine & The Long Death

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, Vol. 4: The Devil's Engine & The Long Death - Mike Mignola, John Arcudi, Tyler Crook, James Harren, Dave Stewart Just a fantastic collection. The first half is really good, but the back half is just amazing. Harren goes all out for one of the best monster battles in comics, ever. Definitely recommend it even if you aren't caught up to this point, just to see his art.

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, Vol. 3: Russia

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, Vol. 3: Russia - Mike Mignola, John Arcudi, Tyler Crook, Duncan Fegredo A-mazing. Crook just kills it and the whole thing is creepy and wonderful. Love more Johann "screen time".
